SHOW ME THE WAY Vocal duet with ANDRINA TURINNE
I was so lucky to have the great vocalist Andrina Turinne (from Chic Gamine and fresh off the road backing The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer) sing a duet on my song 'Show Me The Way'. It is the 2nd track from my newest album 'The Journey In Story & Song'. And it is one of my very early steps in learning to make a simple lyric style video. Great fun all around - thank you Andrina! STREETS OF CALGARY - (Kate Wolf) Stephen Hardy Palmer
Kate Wolf classic sung and played by Canadian folk singer Stephen Hardy Palmer. Written by Kate before her untimely death in the 1980's, it tells the story of an Eastern Canadian rig worker, stranded in Calgary at the time of the collapse of the oil patch. "Now the boom's played out, the works all gone, the money's running dry..." One of Kate's best.

Here is our vocal duet on SO LONG MARIANNE, shot in a summertime park to promote our January show. We did the actual show in Ottawa, just before the Covid19 lock down. A standing room only crowd of Leonard Cohen fans braved the freezing temperatures. a wonderful time was had by all! FOUR STRONG WINDS - CANADIANA CLASSIC- STEPHEN HARDY PALMER
Four Strong Winds, 'the most Canadian song of all time' (CBC). Stephen Hardy Palmer solo guitar and vocal tribute to this favourite 60's folk song, the first song he ever wrote, Ian Tyson's influence on Canadian songwriting continues over 6o years later. Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Buffy Ste Marie, and even Leonard Cohen have all followed the trail that Ian Tyson and Sylvia Fricker blazed. All these years later I still love this lonesome cowboy song. I hope you enjoy. Please 'SHARE'!
