THE JOURNEY IN STORY & SONG
Lorraine Beverly Hill
1955 - 2015
Writer, enthusiast, and lover!
---------------------------------
Lorraine Hill was the love of my life and the best thing that ever happened to me. This album is dedicated to her.
Lorraine was a journalist who enjoyed meeting people and hearing their stories. Legally blind from childhood diabetes, she was still adventurous and very connected to the world around her.
Despite her limited vision she also loved restoring old houses. Every city she lived in she found an old home with 'character' to reside in and restore. I would return from touring to marvel at her progress - walls painted for example, old linoleum or worn out carpet pulled up, or perhaps a new tree in the yard.
Sometimes I was allowed to help a little but this was Lorraine's project.
I am grateful for our time together.

Interview with STEPHEN HARDY PALMER!
We catch up with the supremely talented Canadian singer-songwriter, Stephen Hardy Palmer,
to discuss his latest studio offering, The Journey in Story and Song. The album was recorded and performed in homage to Palmer’s late partner and sweetheart, Lorraine.
Palmer began his performing career in the 60s where he performed in local bands
that supported the likes of The Who, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac,
and The Guess Who; not a bad resume! He has enjoyed a modestly successful career since
but his talent is undeniable; listen to the opening track from his latest album, ‘My Sweet Lorraine’,
and you will be assured of that....
